Acceptable Use Policy
1. Policy Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the acceptable standards of conduct when accessing or using bucephus.comand any sub-services offered by Bucephus Inc. (“Bucephus”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access immediately for any account violating this policy.
2. Scraping & Data Extraction Prohibitions
Our prediction models, ELO calculations, Glicko-2 ratings, live match statistics, and database parameters are the valuable intellectual property of Bucephus Inc.
You agree not to execute, permit, or assist in the execution of:
- Using automated scraper bots, spiders, or scripts to pull or harvest odds data or predictions at scale.
- Systematic database scraping to republish, copy, or redistribute analytics reports.
- Reverse-engineering the Glicko-2, Dixon-Coles, or Monte Carlo mathematical engines.
3. Automation, Bots, & Prediction Abuse
Prediction pools and global leaderboards are built on fair competition. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Deploying automated API clients or scripts to submit wagers, enter P2P rooms, or claim Pulse Credits.
- Sybil attacks (creating multiple fake accounts to exploit referral credits or signup bonuses).
- Leaderboard collusion (coordinating prediction outcomes between accounts to inflate leaderboard points).
4. System Integrity & Safety
You agree not to interfere with the operational security of our systems. You must not:
- Submit malware, viruses, or logic bombs, or execute denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.
- Evade rate-limiting rules, anti-bot honeypots, or IP bans.
- Attempt unauthorized access to our databases, Supabase servers, or Vercel configurations.
5. Compliance & Account Bans
We use automated detection algorithms (including telemetry monitoring via PostHog and honeypot forms) to scan for bot traffic. If our system detects activity that violates this AUP, your account will be immediately suspended.
Suspended accounts lose all accumulated Pulse Credits and leaderboard rankings. Bucephus Inc. is not liable for subscription refunds in the event of an AUP violation.
